Current performers, influencers and artists pay tribute to Billie Holiday in st0ries, letters and comments that accompany their favourite photograph of Billie.

The text is illustrated with classic, iconic and rarely-seen photographs of Billie from throughout her life, including those by William P. Gottlieb, Carl Van Vechten, Jean- Pierre Leloir, Charles Peterson, Bob Willoughby and Moneeta Sleet Jr. and others.
